A fine example: What happened to the last GTA. Because of the *mature* content, the game was recalled and changed to an A/O rating.

That rating was a joke, we gammers never actually thought that a game would be made that warranted such an extreme rating. A/O Is the NC-17 of the gameing world, it nigh unheard of! GTA:San andreas is the firsdt game in history to have this rating, period. Games are going downhill, parents are haveing less and less to do with the raising of thier children. I'm a fine example of this: I pretty much raised *myself*. Parents need to take the responsibiltiy over what exactly what stimuli thier children are intaking.

Ooooh an A/O rating. Now instead of being 17 to buy it you have to be 18. What a difference.
And what's with hillary clinton (uncapitalized)? What does she know about video games? Why does her opinion matter. Why the hell should she make this so much more complicated? If you don't want your kid playing the game then don't let him. No one's forcing anyone to play these games, they choose to.
Wherever there is a sexual scandal, hillary clinton is not far behind.

GTA: San Andreas will be the first console game in history to have an AO Rating. PC Games have had them many times befor.

I agread with everone you if you don't want your kids playing Video Games don't let them It is just that Simple and easy people,but if you want your kids to have fun and play Video Games let them but take control of what thay can play.

Then of course, you have the people in the rating system that ae a little crazy in the head. I mean to look at to two from the same console.
Shadow the Hedgehog: E 10+
Super Smash Brother Melee: T
To critque both of these:
Shadow The Hedgehog, guns violence, destruction, and above all cursing (swearing whatever you want to call it).
Super Smash Brother Melee, cartoon violence (comic mischief and mild violenc)
That's it, someone needs to change those ratings and there are probably more rating out there at need to be either ramped up or dumbed down.
Also, did you hear that they opened a 'video game addict' clinic? It's for people who are "addicted" to video games.
(Some higher up says that it is just as addicting as tobacco, beer and any other drug.) Yeah Right! (sarcastically)

wow..people addicted to video games. that's pretty sad. i read about the guy who died while playing world of warcraft..he just sat in his chair and played continuosly for weeks until he just died. he didn't stop to eat..use the bathroom..nothing.
