Re: The Lottery.
i know. there was another similar case where a friend sued another friend when they won the lottery because they prayed for them to win..so figured they desserved half the money...and they won in court too.

Retired State Worker In N.Y. Is Big Lotto Winner
POSTED: 10:48 am EDT August 2, 2005
WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Sticking with the same Lotto numbers year after year has reportedly paid off for a retired New York state worker in a very, very big way.
Garry McGivney of Watertown has been identified in several media reports as the winner of last Saturday's $56 million Lotto drawing. The state Lottery Division hasn't released the winner's name, but a news conference is scheduled for Wednesday in Syracuse, N.Y.
McGivney told a Watertown TV station that he's played the same six numbers for 15 years. He said the numbers represent his birthday and those of people close to him.
The 66-year-old McGivney chose the lump-sum payment option, meaning he'll get about half of the $56 million before taxes. He said he'll spend the money on his 90-year-old mother and his daughter, as well as on scholarships and charities.
The retired New York Labor Department employee bought his winning ticket at a Watertown deli.
I thought for sure that was you Lynn. I thought they said Fla. :mhm:

The prize patrol along with family and neighbors surprised Tanabe at home. In addition to the million dollars, she gets a Ford Thunderbird. The car is a bonus for playing the game online. Tanabe, who works at the library at Lemont Elementary school, hasn't decided yet what she will do with the money. She says she will keep working for now.
