The first film...
i have been trying to watch the first harry potter movie..the sourceres stone....(right?) for the last month. i would get it on..watch it..have to get up to do something..wind up forgetting about the movie. then cutting it off to watch it later. i have only gotten to the part of the movie where all the latters addressed to harry potter start flying in through the chiminey and windows. i mean it looks like a good movie..but it hasn't gotten a hold of me yet to make me want to sit..not move..and finish it.

For me, interest picks up signifigantly when Snape enters the picture....

Re: The first film...
I felt a bit like that when i first watched it on tape and it just didn't grab me until Hagrid came in.
I saw it at the cinema and that helped.
It can be boring but you have to be determined to sit down and not move from that spot for 20 mins strap yourself down if you have to.
does that help.
By the way i think it is most interesting at the end of the first then the begining.

Re: The first film...
I think the first movie was quite accurate in its translation, but I found it boring, as far as I can remember.
It's not a movie that I would consider getting on DVD. None of the Harry Potter movies are, except maybe the third.
