Harry Potter: Read First.
Welcome to the Harry Potter section of Enigma. Since i myself live in Oxford, England which is where Harry Potter was filmed and also where Emma Watson ( Hermione ) still goes to school, i felt that i should open this page up. Here we talk about anything to do with either the films or the books or the author, J.K Rowling. Likes/Dislikes or any feelings and thoughts on the now, almost cult status of this series.

Hi, so which book do you prefer up to now? Are you saying that you prefer the books to the films? Also, do you think that the next book will be as captivating as the others. In other words, can J.K Rowling top what she has written already?

Josh.
Never read Harry Potter before... what is it that you like about the book and why would you suggest someone else read it?

Re: Harry Potter: Read First.
Hi Winston,
What can I tell you, I was bored with the Book, I am glad I only borrowed it and didn't pay for it, I didn't get half way through, Winston don't feel bad, I even walked out on the DVD, it's not my thing but you can feel good about the fact The Lord Of The Rings did nothing for me either.
Infact I don't even like Star Wars. I find all that stuff boring.
Jennifer

Re: Harry Potter: Read First.
I have read all the books until now and enjoyed the first four books. I'm sad to say i hated the 5th book because it just bored me and took me over a year to finish.
I equally enjoy the films and have the new trailer.
I am also connected to the movie in a more intimate fashion.
Have you heard that J.K.Rowling is going to carry on with Harry Potter after the 7th book

Re: Harry Potter: Read First.
Yeah, I heard that. I don't like any of theHarry Potter movies, though i think the third one was slightly better than the other two.
And my favourite books would have to be the third and the fourth. The fifth one was just too boring.
