Missy Elliot.

ok..so missy elliot went from this....

Image

to this .......

Image

now her body is smaller, but her head got bigger. i personally prefer missy fat, only because yeah..she wasn't that attractive in the body, but she was in the personality. now she thinks she's the shi*t. when if you really took the time to listen to her rap, she sucks big time. what makes her hits big..are the beats. take away the music, and you got a chick who can't rap.

case closed.

Hahaha. I know exactly what you mean. Actually, if I HAD to listen to a rap song, it'd be by Missy Elliot. . .or Lil Jon.

True. . . "What's Your Fantasy" was probably one of the first rap songs I learned ALL the way through. "Roll Out" is good too.

I'm not too into ebonics, but I like to say "thurr" and "herre".

If I ever re-did a Beatles song, I'd call it "Herre, Thurr, and Everywherre"

I think I deserve to get a big whack over the head for saying that.

That's kinda dumb to say that you "prefer her fat"...I mean, would you prefer her dead from a heart attack? Beleive me, all that weight lost was for her health. And she should be happy with and proud of herself for losing all that weight.

And other than that, I think she's got talent. I mean, at least she's better than most of the CRAP RAP out there these days(i.e., 50 Cent and his crew, Eminem, who's falling from grace, etc.) :bng:

i think you seem to have mis understood the point i was making...i don't prefer the way she look...i.e fat and pushing a death by heart attack at a young age...what i prefered was her attitude. she was much more humble and respectful of her fellow artist when she was fat...losing the weight made her lose all of that along with the fat. now she turns on all the other artist...having shouting matches with madonna on a commercial set, refusing to be apart of fellow artisit albums anymore because now she thinks she's the shizzit...but when she was a nobody everybody put her on their albums. which is what helped make her big.

bottom line is health wise she is better for having lost the weight..i am proud of her for that and it should help motivate those who think they can't do it.....but her new found f'ed up attitude like she's a rap goddess, when she is far from being the best female rapper out there leaves a bad taste in the mouths of her fans and raps fans.

I really like Missy. I think she's very original, and she's the highest selling female rap artist of all time so ya can't argue with that. Luda is one of my favs too
