well i agree she is doing it further her career...but i doubt it will work..i don't care who's she's dating. yeah he may put her in a couple of his movies..she will get a little cash..some screen time. but the problem with katie holmes (and many other actors/actresses in her situation) is that no matter what she does..because "Dawson's Creek" was such a hit show..she will always be little joey potter.. the cute girl from across the creek. and any attempts she has had since then..to grow up on screen..look more adult..more sexy..has just resulted in box office failures. and i don't think tommy boy is going to be able to help her.

That's true, once an actor or actress gets typecast, then that is pretty much what people see them as. I can't picture Gary Coleman as anything other than Arnold from Different Strokes saying "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis!" no matter how hard he tries.

I think it's an obnoxious relationship only meant to further eachother's careers. I'm not knockin' age different relationships, because that's been what has comprised my last couple of relationships. There was one man I dated, might've married if it weren't for that nasty car accident that took him from me, was a good 17 years older than me. We had something, but Tom and Katie's relationship isn't real, and it makes me angry. It gives relationships of that type a bad name. Ok, I've said too much already.

Seems like this topic is kind of old now.. but since then, Katie's pregnant. I wonder if they're still going to get married before she gives birth.
