I'm gonna call CompUSA today and see if there's anything they can do. My old man took it to work and the guys there said I need some kind of technology so I can read my hard drive that common people probably don't have. But if there's anymore ideas...nondisclosed_email@example.com (ScareBabyForDie)Sat, 22 Oct 2005 08:43:34 +0000 https://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1453,from=rss#post1453https://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1453,from=rss#post1453hmmm... never heard of that before. the help file basically said he got back in some how bypassing the error and made the changes but technically that wouldn't be possible. I'd suggest taking it to your local repair shop, call the seller, or get ahold of the windows help service.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Drago Lordist)Fri, 21 Oct 2005 18:05:26 +0000 Re: Computer Expert Wantedhttps://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1452,from=rss#post1452https://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1452,from=rss#post1452have u got a reboot disc that came with it? if so read the instructions on the disc and reboot your computer. you will lose all your saved work that is on the computer, but this is the only way i know of. sorry if this doesn't help nondisclosed_email@example.com (moneyballs2)Fri, 21 Oct 2005 07:43:35 +0000 Computer Expert Wantedhttps://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1451,from=rss#post1451https://benigmaforums.runboard.com/p1451,from=rss#post1451I have a Windows XP Home Edition laptop. I've been trying to fix this problem myself for awhile. Every time I get to the load screen I get this message, "lsass.exe system error - invalid parameters passed to function or service", and then it reboots. I can't even get in fix the darn thing. I've tried the suggestions on this page http://computing.net/windowsxp/wwwboard/forum/46198.html but they aren't clear enough for dumb old me. I tried NTFSDOS but it said I didn't have enough memory. And I can't hook it up and make it a slave drive because of the unusual pin configuration. Any help would be appreciated. nondisclosed_email@example.com (ScareBabyForDie)Thu, 20 Oct 2005 19:54:12 +0000
