Tropical Storm Katrina

hey, me and thenabu probably wont be able to log on for the next two days. we got tropical storm katrina heading our way. 11hopefully we wont have to worry about much damage...structural or physical.

The storm should be passed us by friday night, and if we are with electricity then we will be back this weekend.

good luck to anyone in the path of Katrina.

hopefully you will hear from us by saturday.

Re: Tropical Storm Katrina

Hurricane Katrina, this morning at about 8 was 160 MPH - Overnight from 110!! After an hour, aircrafts had reported maximum sustained winds at 175 MPH Making Hurricane Katrina the most powerful storm in the history of earth - Mankind. Hurricane Andrew which devistated Florida in 1992 was 165 MPH, and it came from Africa, having more water to pass over. Overnight in just the gulf Hurricane Katrina jumped 65 MPH! And still growing with a perfect round eye. Catastrophic is the only word to describe it, and it only was expected to be a category three yet now is a five! Even when it reaches the mountains of Tennesse it still will maintain 100 MPH Max winds, that long WITHOUT WATER and THAT FAR INLAND.

Frances for the record, which obliterated everything was 105 MPH. I still have nightmares, yet shudder at the thought of this storm.
