Another Riveting Tale
So lately I've been hanging around youtube, uploading cool stuff for others to watch.
I haven't gotten too sick as of yet. (Knock on wood.)
A whole bunch of other things nobody cares about.
Still in love with Die. I just saw their latest MV (Clever Sleazoid) and it was depressing. Kyo just screams random crap. I wish he would sing. I love Yokan because he sings it so well. It's almost like he doesn't care anymore. SIGH.
I have another Hard Rock Show tonight. I hope I can gather enough energy to last a few hours but I don't know if I'll stay the entire night.
I am having a hard time getting out of bed anymore, my body hurts all the time, even my skin, and I feel twice my age. Sometimes I think I'm going to die. It's the most peculiar feeling. I know I'm not sick like when I have the flu. This is more of a draining, achy feel. I don't think it's depression. I just don't have any energy. Doctors say it's chronic fatigue and give me "uppers" for it, but it never works. I'm not wondering if it's psychosomatic. There's something I haven't dealt with or something has triggered a memory and I'm exhausted of dealing with this forgotten trouble. Which really sucks, you know, not knowing what the problem is. Or even if there is a trigger. Whatever.
Sunny-side up. That's what I say!
I'll write something happier next time. I swear! :)
The Drawn Out Drama Continues
I wrote another few pages in my Kyo story. So it's the better part of 12 pages now. I have now idea what's gonna happen next. Kyo gets attacked and Toshi's figured out his secret and I just know cool stuffs are gonna happen.
My brother is dickering away at Basic Training. He's in the army. Seems like he is having a good time. Rapelling off 60 ft towers, using M16s and grenades, and doing 200 pushups in a minute. Well, at least he's trapped somewhere that he doesn't need initiative. That boy never had the endurance to finish anything. Whatever.
I am volunteering at a cat shelter neutering feral cats. Loads of fun. Doing like 114 per day. I'm glad there were no abortions this time around. That always makes me sad.
I found the coolest site the other day. http://www.youtube.com
It has everything, including Jrock, anime, and other people's crap. But its easy to search and there's lots to watch.
My mom got her top teeth removed and a temporary denture put in. She's all swolled up and the doctor gave her Vicadin. Sweet. Her new teeth look good, but it looks strange because my mum never had an overbite ever before. It will take some getting used to.
There might be an party tonight at my friend's house. Seems he can't tell us anything definitive at the moment.
On the 29, I have another Hard Rock Show. Maybe I can bring my friends with me.
Well. That's all the news I got at the moment. I know you guys are always on edge for my next update. *snicker*
Success to eachother and pass it along!
I gonna be selling awesome Oztier t-shirts to raise money for the big magic show we're putting on. So if you want one, PM me and I'll see what I can do. They're gonna be about $12 each plus S&H if I hafta mail it to you.
I'm still working on my Dir en Grey fanfic. I wrote 4 pages today, bringing it up to a total of 9 pages of story. At first, I was going to make it a romance, and then a comedy, then horror, and then fantasy. Now it's a kind of Harry Potter meets Alice in Wonderland meets Terry Pratchett and they all have a baby, kind of story.
I had a bad sinus headache today. I took a load of Magnesium supplement and that helped.
I still love you Die. Why don't you want to be with me?! You never call!
Ok, I'm going now.
Hypergraphia STRIIIKES again!
I'm currently working on a Dir en grey story. I have a feeling its going to be a novel. Its already 5 pages and Kyo just got out of the hospital. Sheesh.
I wrote another one earlier about a sleepover at Shinya's house. It is completed so I'm going to post it. It was a trial run, trying to work out how I wanted to portray the guys from the band. So it's not as good as the one about Kyo, but if you'd read it and give me hints on how to improve my writing it would be a big help. PM me if you want. I try to avoid grammatical errors as best as possible. I don't like to use n00b talk. Ok, enough chit-chat. Here goes the story!
Sleepover at Shinya's
The doorbell rang. Shinya looked through the peephole, only to see Die’s juicy eyeball staring right back at him. Shaking his head in disbelief, he unbolted the door and let said aggravator in, along with the other band members.
Miyu ran around greeting everyone in a burst of yips.
"What are you all doing here?" Shinya asked, suppressing a grin as his puppy licked Toshi's face to death.
"We came to have a sleepover!" Toshi squealed in between puppy smooches.
"Don't look at me like that, it wasn't my idea." Kaoru almost snarled.
"Where's your TV, Shin-san? I wanna hook this game system up." Kyo said distractedly. Shinya pointed in the direction of his living room.
"Hey, can I make some popcorn?" Die asked, pulling out a bag of ready to microwave kernels and shaking it in the drummer's face.
"Go ahead." Shinya mumbled, a little overwhelmed by this impromptu party.
Dropping onto the chair in the hallway, the young man sighed. It was going to be a long night.
Sometime later, he came into the living room where all the rest of his band mates were. They had just finished a four-way battle in some video game. Die turned to him with grin, and said, "Let's watch this Body Hungry VI movie I rented!"
"Um, is that such a good idea?" Kaoru said somewhat nervously.
"Oh, c'mon Kaoru, it's so hokey." Kyo chirped. "Ain't that right, Shinya?"
Shinya hesitated for a moment, and then said, "It really isn't that bad, Kaoru."
"Okay." Kaoru said quietly, but his face still betrayed quite a bit of apprehension about the whole thing.
Without waiting for any further objection, Die hit the lights and the group was bathed in a soft glow from the TV screen. The movie started out with a dreary old house, surrounded by a threatening storm. Lightning flashed and the thunder roared as the camera focused in on a dark figure making its way to the front door.
Upon arriving at said door, the figure reached up with a pale, sickly hand and pounded feebly on the knocker. The door creaked open, and a tall, ugly man in a butler uniform glared down at this intruder.
"Yes, can I help you?" He said dryly, ending his sentence with what sounded like a hiss.
"Yes, yes, you can help me," replied the voice from inside the hood, "I need something to eat."
"I have nothing to offer you in that respect." He started to close the door.
"But you said you would HELP ME!" screeched the voice from the hood.
Suddenly, the figure leaped on the butler, with its face buried deep in his throat. Thick blood spouted from the victim who didn't get a chance to cry out as his voicebox was crushed almost instantly.
The scene ended when the opening credits began to roll. Kyo turned to the band's bassist, and whispered with a giggle, "See, it wasn't so bad, Kaoru? Kaoru?" Kaoru had passed out.
Shinya sat with Kaoru in the kitchen. The others were still watching the movie. "You know, it's okay to be upset. To be honest, I don't care much for those films either. I don't act scared, but they give me awful nightmares afterward." Shinya said, trying to soothe Kaoru's bruised ego.
Kaoru still looked pale, but a small smile appeared on his face. "Thanks, Shinya. I know you tried, but the fact remains, I am a coward. But let's not have anymore of this sniveling, what do you have to drink?"
"That's the tough guy I know. All I have is wine, a bottle of Merlot, I think." Shinya rose from the table to get the alcoholic beverage, but Kaoru grabbed his hand, and giving it squeeze, as if to say "thank you" again, but in a very different way.
(insert fanservice here 'cause I sure as heck-fire ain't writin' it!)
Not long after the movie ended, everyone was gathered in the living room again. It was sometime after midnight. Kaoru was sitting on the couch with a placid grin on his face, and a flush in his cheeks, presumably from the amount of alcohol he had consumed over the past hour. Shinya was watching him nervously. He didn't like to see Kaoru drink so much.
Kyo and Die were playing a game of checkers, while Toshi, having fallen asleep during the movie, couldn't be wakened, even if the world was coming to an end. Shinya finally spoke, "I think everyone should turn in now. We're all exhausted."
Die looked at Kyo, who was yawning rather fiercely in an attempt to stay awake, and then shrugged. "I'm not really that tired, but okay." Die said.
"Me neither." said Kyo, suppressing another yawn. The two of them crawled into their sleeping bags, and in less than 2 minutes, they were sawing logs along with Toshiya.
Shinya rolled his eyes and glanced over Kaoru. The man had fallen over on the couch and was snoring loudly. He smiled and threw a blanket over him.
"C'mon, Miyu. Bedtime." Shinya said to his furry companion. The puppy curled up next to him and the two drifted off into dreams, surrounded by those they loved most.
What is there to say?
Lessee. Um. Well.
I went to Otakon. It was cool. I got a sweet Dir en grey DVD. Been watching it an AWFUL lot.
My niece can almost roll over. And she makes this really cute GAH noise.
Had a Hard Rock show the other night. Reached a new record for the 50/50. The winner walked home with $105! The charity got $105 as well. Very successful evening.
I have a football game with a bunch of friends scheduled this afternoon. Hopefully people will come. You know how they say they'll come but then don't.
Hrm. Well. I am also going to be involved with a magic show slated for April of 2006. Its going to be huge, with more than 45 people! It'll be the biggest project I've worked on.
Oh, and lately, I've been jogging 2 miles every morning. It's really neat to see how strong I'm getting. My legs are no longer flabby. I just don't know what I'm going to wear to exercise in when the weather gets really cold.
You know, I hate being too hot. I'm definately a cold person. I take cold showers. Ice cold showers. Yeah, I'm really wierd.
Well, that's it for now. I'll update sometime. Soon. I hope.
